Ravenna to Heathcote to Clarksburg
BIKE - PADDLE - RUN Monday, July 1, 2013
Registration - 7:30 am at Ravenna Hall. Grey Rd 119
Race Time - 8:00am The Finish Line will be at the corner of Marsh and Clark Streets in the parking lot by Riverside Graphics.
Awards and closing ceremonies will be held at the Gazebo in Lions Park at approx. 10:30 am
Register below as a solo participant or as a team acting as a relay with up to 4 members having two people in the canoe/kayak portion of the triathlon. There will be different starting times depending on the team’s experience.
We are very excited to have this event continue into its third year and are looking forward to see returning contestants, in addition to new teams and solo participants.

COURSE
It begins in Ravenna where the participants will bike 10 kilometres into Heathcote; then climb into their canoes or kayaks and paddle 5 kilometres into Slabtown and will finish off with a 3 kilometre run into downtown Clarksburg.
Georgan Bay Youth Roots welcomes any members of the community to participate in efforts to promote healthy and active living.

Entry fee -
Team Leader - $45 plus $10 per additional team member Solo participant - $45. Discounted rate for Youth Teams with participants 21 years of age or under. Team Leader - $25 plus $10 per additional team member Rentals

Teams will receive prizes for taking the gold as well as prizes for top trio and dynamic duo as well as the solo, team of 4, most spirited , youngest and last place
